I have operated a restauant in Jemez Springs for the past 7 years. My husband was the chef. He died 5 years ago and I kept it going until this past winter. I also teach full time and decided it was just too much and I didn't enjoy it anymore. I have always been interested in environmental issues and living a simplier lifestyle, so I decided to use the property to open a hostel and environmental education center. It is in the planning stage right now. Now I'm looking for prescription pills without a prescription. I hope to hold classes on topics like vermicomposting, beekeeping, etc. We are a small rather isolated community. Many of our residents work in Los Alamos. We get hundreds of tourists who come up for the hot springs during the tourist season. I think there is a market for a hostel. The education center will be a growing experience. We'll see what happens! Betty
