Hello All,

We would like to have a breakfast "Iftar" and we were thinking about places , Roastry zamalk , hussin or anyplace else , please give your feedback. Iftar will be next Thursday 25/9/2008.

Last weekend, four members of Eglug went to Menia:

4. Manal (an employee of ArabDev )

Alaa and Mohammed Sameer helped the New Vision Association for Development with installing a Linux Server and training staff to manage it. (EGLUG had volunteered before to help New Vision).

كان المهرجان الاول فى شهر مايو 2004

سيكون المهرجان الثانى فىالعاشر من سبتمبر 2005 الساعة ٩ صباحا بساقية عبد المنعم الصاوى فى الزمالك

تقع ساقية عبد المنعم الصاوى فى الزمالك - شارع 26 يوليو - الجهة المقابلة لسنترال الزمالك.

Report on the second Cairo University beginner's course

• Volunteers who participate in this event:

• (Conceptor) Diaa Radwan

• Marwa Youssef

• The GNU/Linux Course was -supposed to be- a 3 days course every session was -supposed to be- 4 hrs.

• There were about 25 of the university students in this course .

Here are the outlines of the course

First day Tuesday 26 - 7 - 2005 from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Report on Cairo University beginner's course

• Volunteers who participate in this event:

• (Conceptor) Diaa Radwan

• The GNU/Linux Course was a 3 days course every session was 4 hrs.

• There were about 40 of the SSTE members and the university students to attend this course so we had to divide the course into 2 courses we were going to make the second course later but we had to make it the next week Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday as the supervisor Dr.prof Mahmoud Taher El-Hadedy meet us the last day and thanked EGLUG for this course and asked us to finish the course urgently within these 2 weeks so we didn't want to dissappoint him, In the first course there were 20 attendee and the rest of them will attend the upcoming course .
