Hi All, I have a problem and would like to find support
I am hosting Egjug.org in shared hosting. The hosting server send me warining that I am using high resources from the server and must check scripts I am using.
I don't know what cause a problem in my host, the current shared host is hosting the following:
- Drupal 4.6.3
- Drupal 4.7
- 7 Wordpress installation with 7 DB
- DotProject
I want to know how I can reduce the resource consuming!
make sure you have caching
make sure you have caching working on all your websites, check if there where unusual spikes of access due to spammers or something in that case configure throttle in drupal and find something similar to do in wordpress.
but in most cases it's the provider that has very low standards and you should be thinking of moving to a new place.
I don't know about dotproject but you can hardly find apps that need less resources than wordpress or drupal.

The caching is working in
The caching is working in Drupal sites. But wordpress is not.
DotProject is simple and accessible to few members.
I don't have spam "Anonymous can't post anything"
Throttle is configured too.
The host complains about the CPU usage and memory usage, the diskspace and bandwidth are great.
I disables many drupal modules to decrease memory usage.
The are redirecting the main page http://www.egjug.org to another one but I can access the site through other URL's
I want to close this issue with the server and move as soon as possible to VPS.

What about the chat script
What about the chat script you used to run ?
WWW: The place for organized randoms!
Not Active
It is not used and accessible for members only.
The chat is one php page with new table in drupal database.
