» Asking about a Samsung ML-1250 Laser Printer

Gurus,

I want to buy a Laser printer and I value cheap hardware. But 8 years ago I valued a Panasonix KXP-6100 Laser Printer and now I am paying the price. Its a damn windows only printer.

Now, I found a cheap (brand new) Samusung Laser Printer for only 630 EGP. Yes only 630 EGP. It is perfectly supported under linux. They listed all the distros we know on the side of the box. Kan na2s Phaeronix.

I however feel that there is a catch. I think that there is something that will make me regret buying this printer.

  • Any experience with this Samsung ML-1250 Laser Printer ?
  • How expensive is the refill ink cartridge ?
  • Any experience with Samsung Laser Printers in general ?

R u kidding? u ask such a question in my presence? ur first refill is for free
As for the samsung printers, I believe they have the same printing engine as the xerox ones, pretty problematic with windowz, but for home use I don't think there's a prob.
